Please do take a few moments to familiarise yourself with these terms and conditions, and if you have queries, please contact: [email protected]
These terms do not supersede statutory rights under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980.
Isobel Egan Ceramics reserves the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice. It is your responsibility to check back regularly, as your continued use of this website following the posting of any changes to our Terms and Conditions will indicate that you accept those changes and agree to be bound by the most recent Terms and Conditions. Products are handmade and glazed by hand and colours may vary slightly from the pictures. The images of the products on my website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the glaze colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the glaze colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Sizes may vary slightly in millimetres due to the nature clay.
Isobel Egan Ceramics product prices are subject to change without notice. Although we will always strive to notify customers and potential customers of upcoming changes, Isobel Egan Ceramics does reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue a product or service (or any part thereof) without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of a product or service.
We can deliver throughout Ireland. Using DPD and AN POST. All parcels are tracked. The delivery cost is calculated at checkout. A signature will be required upon delivery of your order and we shall have no responsibility or liability for any failure to provide such a signature. Please also be aware that our service is not a named delivery service and anyone at the designated delivery address may sign for your delivery. We will not be liable for a lost or missing order that has been signed for at the address given by you by somebody other than you (for example, in an office address).
We deliver Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
Delivery times are estimates and start from the date of dispatch. Please note that for some areas and postcodes there is a limited range of delivery services available. We will endeavour to send your order out as quickly as possible but we cannot be responsible for delays as a result of remote delivery locations or adverse weather conditions.
For international deliveries please contact us directly at [email protected] and we will get a shipping quote for your order. Import duties may be charged and will need to be settled by the customer. Your artwork(s) will be carefully wrapped and packaged using recycled and recyclable materials wherever possible.
All goods on our website are made by hand and sometimes there may be a short wait until more products can be made.
Providing your items are in stock we will aim to dispatch your order to you within 3 and 14 working days.
If you need something for a specific date, please contact us in advance of placing your order so that we can check if it is possible to meet your required deadline.
Payment can be made with your credit card using Stripe. This payment method is a safe, secure and easy way to buy online.
Payment in full is required before orders can begin to be processed.
Currency conversion rates may vary and are determined by the payment processor. By ticking the box at checkout, you agree to our complete terms and conditions. By completing and submitting your order, or continuing through our checkout process, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Where a pricing error has occurred due to technical or human error, we reserve the right to refund or cancel your order.
All prices shown on this website are quoted in Euro (€). Credit card sales will be charged in your local billing currency by your credit card provider. Refunds are also all quoted in Euro. If we have made a mistake entering the price displayed for an item in our online shop, we do not have to sell you the goods at the price stated. It is our responsibility to rectify the error as soon as we become aware of it, or when it is brought to our attention, as per consumer rights regulations in Ireland. If you see a price you believe to be incorrect, please contact us so we can verify it for you.
Orders being delivered to outside the EU may be subject to custom fees, taxes or duties imposed at the destination country’s point of entry. Customer/recipient is responsible for payment of these taxes, duties, and fees. Isobel Egan Ceramics is not responsible for any lengthened transit time caused by delays at the destination country’s Customs Department.
Orders are prepared once we receive full payment and delivery information. With those items in place, orders are generally ready for despatch within 3-5 working days. Please note that order preparation can take longer at busier times of the year such as Christmas and Summer holidays. We will notify of any lengthening of processing time on our website and directly to our mailing list.
We hope you love your Isobel Egan Ceramics pieces.
If you are not happy with your purchase, please email: [email protected] and let us know that you would like a refund and we will help you with the return. Please let me know within 7 days that you would like a refund. Unfortunately, we cannot cover the cost of returning unwanted art pieces to us, nor refund the initial delivery cost. Please also ask for proof of posting when returning items to us for your records.
We will process any refund due to you within 30 days of the day we receive your cancellation. We will aim to make refunds using the same method used by you to pay for your purchase.
Please note that refunds can only be made to the card originally used to pay for the order, and may take up to 30 days to appear in your account. This is outside of our control. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the original packaging, unused and in the same condition that you received it and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. There are certain situations where refunds are not granted. If the item is returned with obvious signs of use, any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.
Please Note: The buyer is responsible for the safe packing and return of work and return delivery costs. If you have any further questions on our returns policy please contact us at [email protected]. Please send your package to: 3 Victoria Terrace, Dublin Road Naas, Co. Kildare, W91FCV5.
I do my utmost to ensure your artworks reaches you in perfect condition; however, if a piece is broken or damaged in transit, please notify me within four days so that it may be reported to the courier. Please photograph the damage and email it to me. Work that is broken in transit will be replaced immediately at no cost to the customer.
If your order arrives damaged or faulty please notify us as soon as possible, and not more than 14 days from your receipt of order. Please provide us with as much detail of the damage/fault. Please accompany these details with photos. If the damage/fault seems to have been caused in transit, taking photos of the damaged outer packaging would also be helpful. Once we have received these details, we can begin the work of replacing and/or refunding your order.
Important Note: please do not return a damaged/faulty order to us unless we expressly request you to do so. If we do ask you to return the order, please send to us via standard shipping and obtain a proof / receipt of shipping and keep this receipt safe until such time as we confirm we have received the returned goods. We will then refund you for the cost of return shipping.
If you need to cancel an order please contact Isobel Egan Ceramics at [email protected]. I will do my best to facilitate this as smoothly as possible. There are a few things to note, so please read the following section carefully. In all cases, please contact us as soon as possible by email
If we receive your request to cancel before your artwork has been shipped, we will simply cancel this order and issue you a refund. However, if your order has been shipped before we hear from you, you must wait for item to be delivered, then return it to us. Please ensure the order remains wrapped, in its original, sale-able condition and return it with its original packaging. Please note that you will be responsible for its safe return to us and for the cost of return shipping.
We would advise you to retain your receipt and/or proof of shipment until we confirm that we have received the returned goods. Once we have inspected the returned order and are satisfied regarding its condition, we will process a refund to the payment method you used to place order.
Please handle the porcelain with the utmost care.
To clean the glazed porcelain (Miniatures), brush gently with a micro fibre cloth, or dust lightly with a paintbrush keeping the ferrule of the brush well away as it can scratch the glaze.
The glazed and unglazed porcelain can be washed under running water and left to dry naturally.
Please Note: Internal Space with Wooden wall hanging attachment (This piece can be cleaned using a microfibre cloth, do not clean using water)
